It is always such a great feeling to be able to dance over the 99 players that were defeated – if winning is as easy as dancing.

But it isn’t. You’ve probably won one or several times when you’ve just created your account. But now, it’s almost impossible to win every time. Yes, almost impossible but still possible. You see, not a lot of players know about these things which seriously gives them a handicap.

In this article, we aim to help newbies as well as experienced players master Fortnite for mobile with practical advice. These tips are not just in the game but in general. Our aim is to improve the players overall gameplay and skills through tips and tricks that give an edge over those who play blindly.

Fortnite mobile is available for Android and IOS. But before you download the game, here’s our list of the Fortnite mobile best tips you should know about.

1.Teamwork is Key

“Two is better than one”. This is true, especially in Fortnite. When playing in Squad Mode, sticking closely to allies should be the top priority. In a battle royale game, the last thing you need is to be a lone target. Also, having more teammates around means more guns at your disposal. More guns lead to more kills and so on.

Of course, it isn’t always an option to stick together especially when you have a squadmate who lands on the other side of the map. It also doesn’t help that your ally is a stranger. So, the best way to always make sure that you all stick together is to plan your landing ahead.

2. Loot Wisely

After landing safely with your teammates, it is time to loot! But how do you loot? If you’re in a team, it is best to loot houses and buildings in each area separately but still within proximity of each other. When playing solo, try to land on roofs and windows so as not to waste any precious seconds.

There are different classifications (color-coded) of items in Fortnite:

  • Grey (Common)
  • Green (Uncommon)
  • Blue (Rare)
  • Purple (Epic)
  • Yellow (Legendary)

It is common sense to pick up items that are rarer. But at the start of the game, that isn’t always an option. So, pick up all the items you can find at the start. As you move around the map, switch them out for higher caliber items.

Also, try to have at least one long range gun at your bag always. You never know when you might need it!

3. Learn to Build

Building has always been the defining thing with Fortnite. It’s still the case here. Building isn’t just a thing, it’s necessary for survival. It’s the difference between having a barrier and being an open target.

But building things in Fortnite mobile is harder than in other consoles. So, practice building in Playground mode to get the hang of it.

4. Aim While Crouching

Although there is the presence of auto-aim in Fortnite mobile, it’s still less accurate than when playing, say in PC. The good news is, you’re not the only one who’s having a hard time.

Our advice is to crouch and shoot. This will improve the stability and accuracy of your shots than just aiming. Also, don’t forget to always move and jump when moving from house to house.

5. Map Awareness

As with Battle Royale games, the map is open and wide. There’s a lot of room even for 100 players – but not for long. As the zone shrinks, players are forced to battle in a circle that’s closing in every second.

As large as the map is, it’s important to always be alert of enemy movement. There are visual and audio cues you should always look out for. It is also recommended to use the Auto-run feature in open fields and for long runs.

6. Tweak Your Settings

Before you even start playing, it is a good idea to customize your controls. You can tweak your desired display settings and controls for a more personalized experience.

It is recommended to increase the sensitivities since it is hard to maneuver and rotate in Fortnite mobile. It is also a good idea to disable Auto Item Pick-Up and Turbo Building. Ultimately, your settings should reflect what works best for you and your device.

7. Learn from Others

The best way to learn aside from reading articles like this is to watch others. But not just others, only the pros.

There are a couple of ways to do this: Spectate matches, watch YouTubers and streamers. Because by watching how the pros do it in first hand, you will understand how they think which you can incorporate into your own gameplay.

Here is a list of the best Fortnite mobile Youtubers to follow:

  • SSN Santa
  • Techamazing
  • DuckyTheGamer

For Youtubers and Streamers of Fortnite for all consoles:

  • Ninja
